Peachtree City

The Peachtree City Identity package which includes a logo, business cards, letterhead and an envelope, was a fairly straight forward design concept. The"twist" on this project was making the obvious to not appear obvious. Peachtree City, located about an hour south of Atlanta, is located in Georgia, otherwise known as the Peach State. As a resort community looking to bolster its identity outside of the local region Peachtree City needed an identity that walked the fine line between individual community and Georgia city.

In there lies the dilemma.

The design was generated by creating increasingly stylized versions of a peach until a recognizable shape, but not obvious shape, was reached. The identity pieces that followed were designed to maintain the open flowing feel of the logo.
